As you know, snowstorm Pax arrived in Charlotte last week. It really came down out there! Schools were closed, businesses are sent their workers home, and we were all hunkered down. Hopefully, you were by a fireplace. While it seemed like Puxatawnee Phil might have been lying earlier this month while we were out enjoying the sun and mild temperatures, last week we have no doubt he was telling the truth. Even though the storm drove us back indoors, warmer weather is right around the corner. We do, after all, live in North Carolina. When spring finally comes, be sure you are ready to escape into the outdoors, and be sure you can spend as much time there as you want. This can all be made possible with outdoor lighting.
Whether you want to light the front of your home or extend the hours you can use your deck, gazebo, fire pit, or garden, outdoor lighting adds beauty, functionality, and safety to your property. Not only does illuminating the front of your home help prevent trips and falls as you walk to the door, it attracts the eyes of those strolling down the street and welcomes guests when they arrive. Deck and patio lighting allows you to use these areas far into the night and can create a variety of moods in your outdoor living spaces. Fire pit area lighting can help facilitate conversation since you will be able to see the faces of those across the pit from you, and it can also help you avoid stepping on the marshmallow bag. Nothing elevates the look of your garden more than garden lighting. Carefully illuminated trees, foliage, and flowers inspire relaxation and a sense of peace. Sounds enticing, doesn’t it? Especially today.
The outdoors are beautiful, and I know you want to preserve that beauty. With advancements in LED outdoor lighting technology, you can minimize your impact on the environment while you enjoy it. The high quality LEDs from Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Charlotte are indistinguishable from traditional halogen lights, consume 80% less energy, and last up to 25 years. You won’t have to sacrifice light quality to fulfill your dedication to the world around you.
Yes, there was a lot of snow on the ground and luckily it did melt fast and soon we will be enjoying warm, spring weather.
